UCLA GKAS screens 150 patients in Colgate mobile dental van



UCLA dental van:
The University of California Los Angeles School of Dentistry dental faculty, residents, dental students and patients pose along the Colgate mobile dental van during a Give Kids A Smile event Feb. 8 at the Children’s Dental Center in Inglewood, Calif. UCLA dental students screened about 150 patients at the van. In addition, 63 patients received treatment including radiographs, cleanings, restorations, pulp therapy and over 200 sealants.

First- and second-year dental students provided oral hygiene instruction, diet counseling and fun activities, such as face painting and dentistry-related games during the event.
